Dear divers,

We will be using this thread to notice you about the new features of the viewer as they are released to the beta.
We invite you to report any bugs or comments to the respective sections of the forum.

RELEASE NOTES:

  • 28/1/2017: ShapeDiver supports textures.

  • 21/10/2016: Outdated models are blurred after a parameter change.

  • 27/09/2016: Upload of .gh files is now available.

  • 11/09/2016: Fixed problems with the display of points and closed bezier curves.

  • 23/08/2016: We support text inputs! Our blog article about controls explains how it works. Check out this example model of a ring containing text. The corresponding Grasshopper definition can be downloaded as well.

  • 06/08/2016: Added the possibility to switch the visibility (show/hide) of model parameters directly in the ‘Edit’ mode of the viewer. The invisible parameter keeps the value that was picked before hiding it.

  • 21/10/2016: Outdated models are blurred after a parameter change.

We welcome your feedback on this feature. Several users have requested a more obvious way to display parameter updates. Let us know if this does the trick, or if you would need something else.

#6
  • 28/1/2017: ShapeDiver supports textures.

Using the newest version of our Grasshopper plugin, you can now assign textures to your models.

#7
  • 4/2/2017: Support for extended model computation time. So far model computation time was limited to 5sec for each version of a model. Complex models may require more computation time, therefore we added support for extending the maximum computation time up to 30sec. Ask us if your model requires this extension.

  • 1/3/2017: Grasshopper plug-in support is here! For now we support the texture mapping components of Human, and Weaverbird. Support for further plug-ins will be added shortly, stay tuned.

#8
  • 21/6/2017: Please check the thread about plug-ins to keep informed about the plug-ins we gradually start supporting. Some plug-ins have been added since our last post here.

  • 21/6/2017: Details about the new export feature can be found in this thread, and we will keep announcing new features there.
